This past Christmas I had purchased tickets for the girls to go see the musical "Wicked" with me. Yesterday was the big day we had been waiting for and we were not disappointed. The girls LOVED it! I had seen it before in Tampa with Joe about a year ago and was thrilled to see it again, this time in Orlando. The cast was terrific! The audience was very responsive in certain parts, which was different, but fun. There was a little girl sitting behind us who knew the lyrics to some of the songs and decided to join in with the cast... a bit annoying, but I completely understood. I looked over at Abby a few times and she was lip syncing, trying so hard not to belt out the words. She's in her school's chorus this year and they happen to be singing a couple of the songs from the Wicked soundtrack at their next performance.

A "Wicked" Day!
One of the greatest things is that during the break, we ended up being 6th in line at the bathroom! Hurray for us!!! It's a good thing too, because the toilets lost water pressure and were not flushing well.
After the show, we went to Brio Tuscan Grill for dinner (oh Yum!) then shopped a bit at the mall. We came home and the girls gave me a massage and I painted their fingernails. What a great girls day (and night) out!

Hi Brenda! You have awesome kids! And you're such a fun and devoted mom. Your kids are lucky to have you.
I loved Wicked! The musical and the novel (short review on my blog: http://www.warrenhenke.com/reviews/book-reviews/wicked). We all went to it when it was here in Seattle a couple years ago.
