Saturday was a perfect day for a birthday and a baptism! Hannah originally wanted to go ice skating with her sister and friends for her birthday. When she heard that her cousins were coming up from Palm Bay to spend the entire day, she decided to hang out with them instead. We all loaded up and went to a Bluegrass Festival just up the street from our house. I think everyone enjoyed themselves, especially Seth, the newest member of the extended family. He's a Black mouth Curr hound dog. He's so cute! I'll have to post a picture of him sometime.
After the festival, we got ready for the baptism. Hannah looked beautiful all dressed in white. I sincerely noticed a difference in her countenance after she was baptized and received the gift of the holy ghost.
Following the program and ordinances, we had a family picnic. When the day was over, she came to me and said, "Mom, I've been happy all day." If only we could bottle it up!
