What happened in October?

Ok, so I skipped over October's festivities. Not intentionally though. Time seems to be speeding up everyday. 

Here are October's highlights:

We celebrated my good friend's birthday by having high tea at the Ritz Carlton.

There was a buffet of halloween treats to go along with our tea (herbal, of course).

On the 25th our ward had a 5K. Conner took the first place prize and beat all of the youth. He ran it in 25:19. There were just two leaders who came across the finish line before him. I'd be happy to post my time, but unfortunately, I ended up being time keeper. Oh darn! Maybe in May at the next 5K. (Top picture- Conner's on the far left in the orange and blue, Gator colors..)

Halloween was fun this year. Well it usually is. Abby was a cheerleader, Hannah was a gothic bride and Cade was a firefighter. Conner and Nathan decided they were too big to trick or treat this year..... until it was time to collect the loot. Then they decided to throw on a cape and a mask from the dress up drawer. Oh they got a sack full!
